Donate non-perishable food items through May 31 and earn 100 points per item. Bring your donations to the Customer Service Center. Donations benefit "We've Got Your Back Program" to help fight hunger in Orange County elementary schools. See Current Flyer for a list of suggested items.

Get Started Earning Rewards, It's As Easy As 1-2-3

  1. How Can You Help Your School?

    It’s easy to help your school earn $250 to $2500. Just shop and log receipts from any of Buena Park Downtown stores and restaurants between September 15, 2009 and May 31, 2010. Your school earns ten points per dollar spent with lots of additional bonus points opportunities. Receipts can be logged at Customer Service anytime during the program. Remember to tell your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers to log their receipts. Anyone can support your school in the Brain Power Mania program. View Current Flyer »

  2. Why Should I Participate?

    Everyone has shopping to do! Why not help your school at the same time? Every participating school earns a prize, but how much is based on the total accumulated points earned by each school. So even the soda or latte receipt adds up! Logging receipts is easy to do – the Customer Service staff will note your receipt total, stamp the receipt and hand it right back to you. Many schools also collect their parents’ receipts and log for them – just check with your school office. Buena Park Downtown is giving away $14,500 in gift cards this year to 25 participating schools.   3. More About Brain Power Mania

    Buena Park Downtown has contributed more than $135,000 to local schools through the Brain Power Mania program, which began in 1999.  Brain Power Mania will add another $14,500 this year to support school and classroom projects. Crescent Avenue Christian and Schweitzer Elementary for each donating more than 1,000 items to the Giving Children Hope campaign. Dysinger, Emery, Gilbert, Hansen, John Marshall, Maxwell, Morris, St. Pius and Temple also donated items. Please keep supporting this wonderful program that directly serves our community. Earn 100 points for each item donated at Customer Service. Our goal is one item per student (about 17,000) and we have received just under 4,000 items so far.
