The money from the School Cents Program afforded us the opportunity to purchase items, like digital camcorders, that we just don't have the funds to use to enhance our instructional program. Additionally, we were able to buy some items, like larger ladders, that will be able to used by parents to decorate our stage for the variety of musical performances and events we put on each year. The items we were able to purchase will benefit all our students and parents! What a blessing it is to have these funds to enhance our educational efforts.

How Can You Help Your School?
It's easy to help your school win $150 to $1,500. Just shop and log receipts dated between August 15 and December 31 from any of Chandler Fashion Center and Urban Villages stores and restaurants (receipts dated through December 31 may be logged by January 31, 2012). Your school earns five points per dollar spent, with lots of additional bonus points opportunities. Receipts can be logged at Guest Services anytime during the program. Why Should I Participate?
Free money for your school! Everyone has shopping to do. Why not help your school at the same time? Every participating school earns a prize, but how much is based on the total accumulated points earned by each school. So even the soda or latte receipt adds up! Logging receipts is easy to do – the Guest Services staff will note your receipt total, stamp the receipt and hand it right back to you. Many schools also collect their parents' receipts and log for them – just check with your school office. Chandler Fashion Center is giving away $8,750 in gift cards this year to 20 participating schools. Chandler Fashion Center has contributed nearly $40,000 to local schools through the School Cents program, which began in the 2008-2009 school year. School Cents now rewards 20 elementary schools, and will add another $8,750 to local schools during the 2011 Back to School & Holiday School Cents program.
