How Can You Help Your School?
It's easy to help your school win a share of $15,000. Just shop and log receipts from any of Westfield Oakridge stores and restaurants between September 15, 2009 and May 15, 2010. Your school earns five points per dollar spent, with lots of additional bonus points opportunities. Receipts can be logged at the Westfield Oakridge Concierge. Why Should I Participate?
Everyone has shopping to do! Why not help your school at the same time? Every participating school earns a prize, but how much is based on the total accumulated points earned by each school. So even the soda or latte receipt adds up! Logging receipts is easy to do – the Concierge staff will note your receipt total, stamp the receipt and hand it right back to you. Many schools also collect their parents' receipts and log for them – just check with your school office. Westfield Oakridge is giving away $15,000 in gift cards this year to 30 participating schools. More About Earning 4 Learning
Westfield Oakridge has contributed $30,000 to local schools through the Earning 4 Learning program, which began in the 2007-2008 school year. Earning 4 Learning now rewards 30 elementary schools, middle and high schools and will add another $15,000 this year to support school and classroom projects. All the schools that supported the Giving Trees in 2009. 167 gifts were collected this year. The five schools with the most donations include Glider Elementary, Frost Elementary, Simunds Elementary, Herman Intermediate School and Rachel Carson Elementary School.
